You are not charged until after the design session, when your completed documents are delivered. If you would like more information before scheduling, please read the plan details or contact me.
Once you schedule your design session, here is what to expect:
Before your Design Session
After you schedule your appointment, you will receive a welcome email with a link to a questionnaire and information about what to do next. If you do not receive this email check your spam folder and then contact me. Please return your completed questionnaire at least 12 hours prior to your scheduled design session. While there is no charge for the design session itself, you are required to enter your payment details and there is a $25 fee if you miss your appointment without canceling at least 4 hours prior.
During the Design Session
The design session is held via a Zoom web conference. At the beginnning of the session, we discuss your needs and make sure that an Essential Estate Plan is a good fit. If an Essential Estate Plan is not a fit, you pay nothing. If it is, we dive in and detail your specific goals so I can tailor a plan to your needs. Design sessions last anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours.
After the Design Session
After our design session, I get to work finishing your documents. When they are complete, I charge the payment method you entered when you scheduled your appointment and send you a link to download the documents. You have 7 days from the design session to download the documents and 10 days from the design session to make 1 request for changes, if necessary. Once your final documents are available for download, you are responsible for having the documents witnessed and notarized by a notary of your choice*.
* IMPORTANT - The documents are not valid until signed, witnessed, and notarized.
